Rob Alvarez
Rob is one of the co-owners here at The Executive Room. He was Born and raised in Napa. He comes from a large family and after high school followed his uncle’s trade of painting. After doing that for roughly ten years, Rob had the artistic and perfectionist’s touch for it, but due to the economy he didn’t have steady work. Rob then made the choice to switch careers altogether and follow his creative passion by attending barber college in Sacramento at Moller's Barber College. During his intense training time there he began cutting hair out of his garage while continuing to paint on the side.
After graduating Rob began to pursue his career as a full-time barber. It wasn’t long after that he was introduced to Steve Pierce… This was 2 ½ years ago. Rob and Steve entered into a partnership with The Executive Room and later on hired their co-worker Mike Perkins to fill three full-time chairs.
Rob says, “I have built my clientele from friends and family through the town I grew up in and nothing pleases me more than working in my hometown.” Rob is actively involved in local athletic teams from Pop Warner to high school. He also promotes local charities as well as getting involved with fundraising for local causes.
Rob’s life passion is people and the needs of those close to home. One of those necessary needs, is a great, easy haircut… He, along with Steve and Mike strives to offer a place of comfort with style where you can expect to get the services you want. Rob’s main goal as a barber is to provide quality haircuts in a comfortable atmosphere where one can feel free to be themselves. Rob says that he sees all walks of life come through their doors and no two people are alike. Every day is rewarding.
“Our goal is to meet the needs of each individual and make it an experience they want to live again and again,” says, Rob.
On a personal note, Rob goes on to say, “Aside from my career as a barber I have three beautiful children and a wife whom I love to spend time with. We enjoy camping and any outdoor activities.”
